Our new HERMES tool has been out for some time with thousands of candidates around the world completing the test. The impact this will have on our members will be incredible as we continually focus on improving the quality of subtitles. We’re quickly approaching a point where English won’t be the primary viewing experience on Netflix, and HERMES allows us to better vet the individuals doing this very important work so members can enjoy their favorite TV shows and movies in their language.... But yeah, the test takes forever to be assessed. Already half a month for me (and counting).

Supposedly it serves to provide an e-mail address for all those in this thread:

... who wanted to:
- challenge the qualifications of the test evaluators Netflix will be using;
- complain about their inability to meet the 10 business days turnaround;
- question the other participants' ability to do the job;
- complain about the test not working in their system;
- shoot the messenger, unsure on who would that be;

... and who failed to realize that Netflix is free to hire whoever they please, test or no test.
