I would certainly recommend becoming a paying member at ProZ.com. I started with a free membership, but I have had much more work since I decided to invest in ProZ.com membership. Now I don't have any delay before quoting for a "private" job posting, I have access to the LWA of every outsourcer on the Blue Board, and I can meet fellow translators via the site or at a powwow.

Being a paid member not only tripled my clients, but also gave them trust and confidence to use my language services repeatedly. I am totally satisfied with membership benefits, including the support ProZ.com has given me throughout the years and counting.

This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. Proz.com membership opened up the world for me, and within a couple of years I managed to obtain an extensive international clientele. Throughout the years I met many interesting people.

Kudoz to ProZ.com and their Blueboard for translator and agency ratings!! It's worth being a paying member. I just let a company with late payment know that I was aware they had some negative feedback and that I would add mine by the end of the week if I did not receive payment by then. I also started following their profiles on LinkedIn. 5 minutes later I received my payment via Wise!

I never regret my decision to join ProZ.com, because I find it both rewarding and enjoyable to be a member of the world's largest portal for translators and interpreters.
