Dear all: Can anyone help me to get link of free subtitling software? Regards, Pradeep Neupane | | | Subtitle Workshop | Jun 21, 2010 |
Search on Google. I am sorry for not providing you with a link, I don't really have time for that. It is free and easy to use. Good luck! Veronica | | | Free software | Jun 21, 2010 |
Hi Pradeep! I work in the subtitling industry and I am used to much powerful (and extremely expensive!!) softwares such as Swift ADePT and Wincaps, but, as suggested by Veronica, you should try with Urusoft Subtitle Workshop 4 BETA 4. It is free and very user friendly. You can find it at the following link: http://www.urusoft.net/downloads.php?lang=1 Regards, ... See more Hi Pradeep! I suggest you don't get the BETA version before you've used the existing version for a while, beacuse the BETA version's buttons don't have labels, so it can be rather confusing to use at first. I tried learning it by reading the manual, but in the end I realised that learning it by using it is easier (a little frustrating at first, but soon you learn how the buttons/shortcuts work). | |

Hello Pradeep, thanks for opening this thread and many thanks also to Diana for adding the link. I have never approached subtitling activities. However, as I was recently wondering if I should start exploring this particular area of expertise I will probably be downloading this software to get a rough idea on how the process works. Ciao, D.

I recently tried Aegisub briefly on Linux and it seemed quite stable – something previous edition of it haven't been. Jubler is another one you might want to look at. | | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » want free subtitling software Trados Business Manager Lite | Create customer quotes and invoices from within Trados Studio
