seed drill vs. row planter For small cereal grains like wheat, oats, rye and even beans you would want to use a seed drill. For Corn and beans you would want to use a row planter.

Oh dear, unless I specifically include '18-row seed drill' as part of this answer, I can see it turning up later on. But just to reiterate, 'Reiher' refers to the number of rows that the machine is capable of planting/drilling at one pass.
