Now, let's take any five proz.com members (aka: the world's best professional translators) at random (in the relevant language pairs, of course), and have them translate the same dialogue in the same sequence.
My bet is that the result would be just as hilarious as the clip I've just been watching while sipping a delicious pisco sour.

I used to teach English to students at Minsk Linguistic University. Just to show them the crooked ways of communication I arranged them in 5 two-three people groups and gave them the following task:
Each group had to invent several headlines in English. Then they passed them to the next group who translated them into Russian, folded the paper leaving only their "masterpieces" visible and handed them along the line. The next group translated the Russian version back into English. And... See more I used to teach English to students at Minsk Linguistic University. In over 50% of cases the first and the last entries which were supposed to be more or less the same caused fits of roaring laughter.

Right, well given that my private jet is in service right now my only other option would be regular commercial airlines, and even if I were to leave this instant, that's one deadline I don't think I could make. Hmmm, I used to have some buddies in los Halcones - maybe they could help me out?!?! On second thoughts, flying with them can get a little bumpy...
OK - instead, I'll make my own Pisco Sour, and raise my glass eastwards across the Pacific in a virtual Salud!
