The upcoming Easter Holiday makes me wonder why we keep seeing Easter bunny on decorations?
I really don't understand it.
We orthodox Christians are boiling eggs and painting them, and we cracked them, and egg is a symbol of life, or more like how life is occurring in a mothers belly.
And also the egg it's a symbol and reminder to still unanswered and never answered question: Which was first, the chicken or the egg?
So, what's with the bunny?

It's the same thing. Symbol of life (fertility) and the new beginning of life in spring.

Yeah, but why bunny and eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs.

Rabbits are very fertile animals (quick breeders) and their main mating season is the spring.

It says it was pagan thing, well, all traditions and customs are pagan in one way or another.
