This afternoon, I tried to log-in to gmail, but to no avail: I always get a server error and a request to try again in 30 seconds. An attempt an hour later generates the same message? Is this also the case where you live?

Yes, gmail is not working today, and yesterday there were also many problems. Let's hope they all get solved soon, because I need to check my e-mail!!!

I haven't been able to log in for 4-5 hours now. I had the same problem on Monday from about 11:00 to 16:00.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I am writing from Spain. I also had the same problem between the hours Eva mentioned. I guess there's no need to add that it's fairly annoying, but there's nothing we can do about it, I guess. After all, it's a beta version...

Did you email the webmaster? That's what I always do with my email server. But I have been pretty lucky so far, since I have had only minor trouble with it.

Hi all,
I have been unable to receive anything from my Gmail account since last Wednesday, though I can log in without problems.
My ISP is OK, Gmail is not blacklisted so ... "Houston, we have a problem."

when it announces somthing like all beta information deleted, now going live we will be stuck hehe
I think I am going to transfer my email to Outlook and burn it on a CD+transfer it to a Yahoo (1gig) account.

I'm not having any problems with Gmail today. My husband said something about how he couldn't log in yesterday at work, but I have been receiving my messages without any problems these last two days. I have it set up with Thunderbird, so all the messages are downloaded automatically as long as the program is running. But after reading this thread I decided to open my browser and log into my account through the web-based interface and everything seems to be smooth... I hope your Gmails get up and...
