Many suggestions for improving income stream from translation related fields. Great in theory but in practice I am finding it difficult to get contracts. Many organisations rely on translators, editors, subtitlers, etc to work for free (I have been translating monthly newsletter for free for a medical world organisation for over one year now with absolutely no prospect of getting paid work), same with subtitling...
