En 1972, vine por primera vez a México, aqui me case y, excepto por tres años cuando regrese para hacer estudios (Arquitectura), he estado viviendo en México.
P...or muchos años trabaje con un permiso FM3, hasta que un amigo (cuando falleció mi padre en 1997) me dijo que, según la Constitución Mexicana (Art. 30), tenía yo derecho de reclamar mi nacionalidad mexicana por nacimiento. Asi que, lleve mis papeles-junto con las actas de nacimiento y de difunción de mi padre-a Relaciones Exteriores, me pidieron mi acta original de nacimiento para apostillar el mismo- y me dieron mis papeles, certificando mi doble nacionalidad. Mis dos hijas por mi primer matrimonio (tuvimos un hijo que murió en un accidente automobílistico en Playa del Carmen, 1997) también tienen ambos pasaportes (Mex/EEUU) y jamás han tenido que pedir una visa para viajar.
Un año despues del accidente en que falleció nuestro hijo, sufrí una depresión muy seria, y estuve muy mal por más de un año; deje de comer, hablar y tenia graves problemas de insómnia. Mi primera esposa se enfermo y se fue a vivir con su mama.
Un hermano menor me cuido por casi dos años, pero cuando volví a reestablecer mi salud, le diseñé (soy arquitecto de profesión) y le ayude a construir una casa en Residencial del Lago (Lago de Guadalupe), adonde ahora reside con su familia.
Ya reestablecido, me fui a vivir a Acapulco, un amigo me presento a uno de los dueños del la cervecería Modelo; (me recomendó) y fui comisionado para construir un complejo de 16 bungalows en condomínio–de lujo– ("Las Terrazas" el Fracc. Las Playas) menos de 3 meses despues de instalarme en Acapulco; posteriormente-Gracias a Dios-goce de una serie de comisiones muy interesantes.
Aunque su madre y yo eventualmente nos separamos, permanecimos como "más que amigos" y, Gracias a Dios, seguí cerca de mis hijas.
Luego, en una fiesta que hubo para festejar un nuevo contrato (ya para esto había formado un despacho de diseño, planificación y construcción en Acapulco), conocí a Anayancyn (Annie), con la cual me volví a unir menos de un año despues de nuestro primer encuentro. Al casarme con Ana, también adquirí 2 hijos mas-Beto (ahora un ingeniero y supervisor de plataformas para PEMEX en Cd. del Carmen, Campeche) y su hermana, "Annie Jr." (Ingeniera química-farmo-biológa en Laboratorios Bayer, Mexico, DF), que en ese entonces eran pre-adolecentes.
En 2003, sufrí un accidente (me caí de un andamio bastante alto a un piso de mármol y me lastime una pierna) que me forzó a desistir de mis actividades supervisando obras. Despues de limitarme a proyectar y dar clases de diseño en la universidad (Loyola del Pacifico, en Acapulco), comencé poco a poco a hacer traducciones (online), profesionalmente, desde mi casa, en 2003 hasta la fecha.
