I missed the option of being a doting grandparent.
| So, It isn't just me! | Jun 24, 2007 |
Good to know that the majority went for traveling.
I believe that we, translators, spend a LOT of time in a confined space, interacting with machines, buttons and walls. No wonder we crave for traveling, exploring and seeing "PEOPLE".

| Traveling is the best option. | Jun 24, 2007 |
For me, travelling would be the best option...
If only I could do it now...I'm thinking about buying a notebook, since our work allows us to do it anywhere...
What about translating while going on a safary trip?, or proofreading while surfing the Pacific Ocean?
Too much work turns me a little crazy, don't you think?
I think I should get in touch with people more often...this "Lobo Estepario" mood...ja ja.
Have a nice weekend.

| Definitely traveling! | Jun 24, 2007 |
But not just when we retire. We want to travel NOW! Maybe next year we're traveling to England, Spain and France to visit family and friends.
Have a nice weekend!

As usual the poll does not enable the answer one would like to give.
I say yes to all, and I already have all those options except the Nursing Home...
...where I hope I never end up.
Silvina Matheu Argentiina Local time: 13:23 Liige inglise - hispaania + ...
...meaning at home, wherever it may be, AND traveling.
I wonder who has voted for "nursing home"! And why??

| I voted that I will not retire | Jun 24, 2007 |
However, when I am old, I would like to work only days, and not nights as well - possibly also only 5-6 days per week.
