In my country, all the three languages in which I work are spoken... I work in English, Gujarati, Hindi... and all of the are spoken. The poll does not apply to me.

For 20 years, I have lived in a country with a third language, Arabic, which is neither my source nor my target language. I see that, although we are a distinct minority, I am not the only one in this situation.
Fortunately, my native (target) language is always available, simply because it is English, esp. since the advent of satellite TV and computers, so that I have no problem keeping up with new developments. And my source language is also our default family language, and I have ma... for a while. Here we have german ( includes swiss and austrian German ) , italian ( natives from north italy) , french ( mostly from lyon), spanish (european) swedish and norwegian ( how could I forget my latest friends here ) colonies and all speak but none are translators there are a lot of british and portugese but do not live in colonies, but the natives speak Konkani. Does this apply to me!!? Best Brandis

For business reasons, I am partly in the UK, where Queen's English is the standard language. I don't know whether Welsh has official status?
I am also in Belgium where Dutch, French and German are official languages. A variety of Flemish and Walloon dialects, Turkish and Moroccan Arabic are the unofficial languages. English is widely used.
As in every city with international institutions on its territory, in Brussels, you may find yourself on a "multilingual highway".

Well, it's actually more like three, since English is rapidly becoming Switzerland's fifth official language...
The country's four languages are German, French, Italian, and Romansh. I work in German and English and from French into those, so what do I answer?

I live in two countries, where my source languages are spoken (Germany and Slovenia). Who knows, though, maybe soon I am going to move to a completely different country and I can't speak the language yet.

I am lucky enough to live in 2 source languages and be in close contact with the third. As I can't see how my French, Dutch or German could possibly be an improvement on that of native speakers, I only translate into my target (i.e. native) language, English. I am completely fluent in my 3 source languages (trilingual?) but I only have one native language, since afaik, it's impossible to change one's place of birth.

In Cyprus (especially if you consider the whole island to be one nation) Greek, Turkish and English all have official status. I translate from Turkish into English and don't know much Greek, so all three options apply to me!
