Born in 1986 in Zagreb, Croatia, I have been learning foreign languages since the age of 6, starting with English. Throughout high school, I have felt an inclination towards both languages and science, which has led to participating in student competitions in English and Latin.

After finishing high school, love towards science and engineering prevailed and I chose to enroll Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb. After five years of study, I have obtained a Master degree in Computing in February 2011. During my academic education, I have participated in Erasmus student exchange at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and BEST summer course on Biomedical Engineering in Leuven, Belgium. The experience gained through this form of international education has helped me broaden my communication skills in foreign languages.

In last few years of academic education I have chosen to combine computer engineering with biology and medicine by working on the project of treatment planning of solid, deep-seated tumors by electrochemotherapy, in cooperation with University of Ljubljana.

Currently, I am employed as a Junior Researcher at Laboratory of Biocybernetics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, where I am also pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering. My main area of work includes above mentioned treatment planning of solid, deep-seated tumors by electrochemotherapy. In short, my work requires skills in mainly computer engineering, math and electrical engineering, with a background in biology and medicine. The course of my work includes scientific communication in English language and oral presentations in English, thus advanced knowledge of English language is a must.
