How to catch & highlight repetitions in a Word file using Trados 2007 or 2011

Hello,
I have a Word file of a big volume of repetitions. Is there a way to catch & highlight the same?
My concern is to know all such repetitions and exclude them from file to be translated by the same translator for consistency purposes (as file shall be divided into 2 parts).
I use Trados 2007 and 2011. If there is away apart from Cat tools it is welcomed as well.
Thank you

So can Wordfast Classic. It's a CAT tool, but you don't have to use it as a CAT tool if all you want is extract repetitions. Its demo mode is sufficient to do this, which means you can do it for free.

In Trados 2007

Use in Workbench Analyse. After analysing you can save an extract with segments say more than 99% matchlevel. Save it as rtf. This file contains no repetitions and not 100% matches. In Studio I don't know if it is possible.

Yes, it is. Run "analyse files" as a batch task. Tick the box "Export frequent segments" and enter a minimum number of occurrences.
That will give you a separate sdlxliff file that you can translate first and add to your TM. Then use that TM to translate the original Word file.

I used this method but I got an empty extracted file.

- After analyse>>Export Unknown Segments (100%). - From word (2003): Tools>> Compare & Merge Documents (the original word file compares with the Exported one). I got a file with blue segments that represent repetitions.
Thank you Heinrich
