soalan pendengaran terfokus

- focussed listening = non-passive listening, i.e. listening hard to what's being said with the purpose of showing feeling, empathy and understanding [by the interviewer, usually in a one-to-one interview].

- other examples of similar terminology: 'active listening' (pendengaran aktif) and 'reflective listening' (pendengaran reflektif)

soalan pendengaran tertekun

If you want something that sounds more "Malay", then "tertekun" is an alternative. It is common to say "mendengar dengan tekun" to mean listening intently, or in other words focused.

For verification that the match is accurate, see "tertekun" in Kamus BM-BI of Dewan Eja Pro and also under the entry "tekun" in Kamus Dewan of Dewan Eja Pro.
