sto sottotitolando dei video didattici, argomento missaggio audio in studio di registrazione. Il termine per il quale cerco un corrispettivo italiano, se esiste, è "stem". La frase è questa:

"Similar to groups and at their combination or tracks sub-mixed to a stereo pair, are stems, which are often created within the mix so that key elements of the track can be rebalanced later on."

La definizione di Wikipedia è chiara, ed è questa: "In audio production, a stem is a group of audio sources mixed together, usually by one person, to be dealt with downstream as one unit. A single stem may be delivered in mono, stereo, or in multiple tracks for surround sound".
Il mio tentativo di traduzione è "raggruppamenti". Si noti che la prima frase riportata potrebbe contenere degli errori grammaticali nella parte iniziale, poiché sto traducendo dall'audio e non riesco a captare ogni singola parola.
