En un Comentario del Nuevo Testamento, en donde se cuestionan ciertas traducciones del griego al inglés, el autor emplea un modismo que quisiera me indicaran cómo debo traducirlo. Gracias.
"'...questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself' (1 Timothy 6:4-5).
So we will have to withdraw from Edward Hindson, Truman Dollar, A.V. Henderson, and everyone like them for when THEY GOT TO THEIR 'NUMBER' in verse 5, they put out a 'bible' that altered the truth to read, 'who suppose that godliness is a means of gain' (NKJV). The NASV, NIV, ASV, RSV, RV, and the Living Bible all follow suit."
