English to French Law/Patents Insurance indemnisation

Bonjour à tous, je sèche sur le mot "co liability", surtout avec le 30% qui est devant...Je ne suis plus très bien qui a fait quoi, et ce que cela peut vouloir dire en français. Voici le contexte: "the TP (third party ?) insurer offered us 11.000 euro, for all the claim because of a 30% co liability, despite the fact that his insured had to watch out for a STOP sign ! Your insured probably drove faster than the allowed 50km/h, but on the other hand there were foiund no braking traces ! "
