Аутизм- одна программа, нарушения слуха- друга, и т.д. Не знаю, есть ли такие услуги где-то, но они очень нужны. Я помогала мальчику, усыновленному из России, но у него были проблемы со слухом. Ни в Талсе(ОК), ни в Чикаго(ИЛ)никто в школе не занимался с ним индивидуально, что меня удивляло. Но мать(медсестра по профессии) сказала, что это нормальное явление.

Other subjects offered which have less significant impact on the hearing impaired child's ultimate ability to complete a full educational program may be reduced and/or eliminated in favor of the support services. In any event, however, no more than (5) five periods of the regular educational program may be eliminated in favor of supportive services. To avoid taking too much of the student's regular program time, the Itinerant might achieve the maximum of 5 periods per week by scheduling some sessions outside of normal teaching hours (ie. lunch time and after school) with the permission of the parents and the agreement of the student.If this level of support is insufficient a change in placement (service delivery) is indicated.

Through this program, instructional services are provided by teachers to component districts on a shared basis. This support service enhances educational programs where full-time personnel are not required. The maximum share of any given service in a single district is three days per week. Each position must be shared among two or more districts and is full-time for the ten month school year, unless otherwise identified.
