HI,
Does anyone know how to merge subtitles with video? I work on WinCaps.

VirtualDub + TextSub video filter

1. Open video.
2. Add this filter.
2.1. Select the subtitle file.
2.2. Adjust font shadow, colour size.
3. Save video.
4. Profit.

MKVMergGUI Feb 17, 2016

As an alternative way you can use MKVMergeGUI (from the MKVToolnix package). The resultant video will be *.mkv and this is actually a container with separate video, subtitle, and audio tracks, i.e. they are not merged. But for the end user the video and subtitels will appear as "merged".
