Hello ProZ.com members,

In recognition of your ongoing support of the site, if you are a current platinum member, your "platinum-since" date has been set back to the earliest date on which you became a paying member. This applies even if you allowed your membership to lapse for some period since that date.

Hello ProZ.com members,

In recognition of your ongoing support of the site, if you are a current platinum member, your "platinum-since" date has been set back to the earliest date on which you became a paying member. This applies even if you allowed your membership to lapse for some period since that date.

This is a one-time change. From today forward, when membership expires the platinum-since date will be lost, and upgrading again later will set a new platinum-since date.

If your platinum-since date still appears to be incorrect, please let us know by submitting a support ticket.

Thanks,

What about folks who used to be "premium"? Dec 16, 2005

Once upon a time, paid membership was classified as "premium," rather than "platinum," then there was an intermediate period when there were two levels of paid membership, "premium" and "platinum," with "premium" eventually disappearing into the sunset. Thus, when I first became a paid member, it was at the "premium" level. When that was I no longer remember, but it was back in the very early days of ProZ.com (back when we were still using covered wagons).

Hi Yolanda,

The "platinum-since" date should be set to the earliest date of any paying membership, including the early premium membership.

Thanks,

Jason
