Hello all, have upgraded to the latest version of Wf 5.52b but since upgrading the OS to Windows-XP , and on using Ms Word 2003 -am facing the following problem -

2. On beginning a translation sessiong using WF - a pop-up says "the window is split, continue anyway"
3. If "yes" is selected, the "View" (in the Ms Word toolbar) changes from "Print layout" to "Normal".
One has to change it back to Print layout to continue with the translation session.
This occurs every time one closes a segment & re-opens it the pop-up windows ("the window is split, continue anyway") reappears again.
Have tried disabling the split (Remove Split) from the MS Word tool bar. But the problem persists.
4. If "no" is selected - the translation session does not begin.
Can someone help me out please. Disabling the split window & moving from "normal view" to "print layout view"often is disturbing & time taking. Also selected "web layout view" from MS Word tool bar. The problem of split window persists.
Many thanks Pam
Addendum: Have found a temporary solution "increased the zoom factor for "Normal View" thereby continuing the translation work. But the problem remains that one has to re-select "print view" evry time one closes a segment
