40007 Error in Trados

Hi all,

I am using 6.5.1.406 version (build 406) of Trados Freelance.

I have received the following message - (40007) Error reading TTXfile header:A leading surrogate character was not followed by a legal second character.

Can someone please help, since the patch Trados edited relates only to 6.5.2 version. Any help is greately appreciated. Thank You!

TTX file sucks... May 21, 2006

it could be that...

the file is damaged
the file was produced with a different, incompatible version of the software


Try to open it with TagEditor - very probably the same thing will happen; if not, you may have a chance to see, where in the file the problem starts.
