Getting this "certification" by means of bought materials and an easy exam is probably not the best way of becoming an attractive translator in a mature market where there are plenty of postgraduate, qualified, experienced translators who have hard-to-get certifications with a low pass rate.

I encourage you to invest properly, and save your money for proper translation training/education, in preparation for exams that are difficult to pass and are therefore valuable. Yo do not need experience to take the IOL's DipTrans exams or to follow the distance-learning translation courses of a number of universities, for instance.

Good luck!
