I would say no, but then I realized that actually I use my data FTE connection as a second internet option sometimes. When my home internet fails and when I work in some cafes and bars, I set my smartphone as a point of access. So yes, I have 2 internet providers.

Like Luiz I answered Yes since I do have mobile data on my cell phone with a completely different provider, which can be useful if I need to let a client know about potential delays due to power or Internet outages. In practice I haven't needed that added connectivity more than once, and I wouldn't bother getting a second Internet access for just this purpose.

Does the poll question make sense in English?

Doesn't "in case of outages" mean "when there is an outage" rather than "in case there is an outage", or is that just me?

I have two of LOTS of things ... just in case. For example, if I like a particular item of clothing, I might buy two just in case one of them gets damaged, as they invariably do. A case in point is some cheap and comfy jogging pants I got back in the UK. I spilt sulphuric acid over one, but I managed to cut the legs off and make it into a pair of shorts. And I still have the other pair.
I also have two functioning laptops and two fully operational PC's - just in case. Trainers are another thing - If I find a pair I like, I usually buy two because by the time they wear out, I probably won't be able to find the same ones again.

PS: In summer time, I also keep at least two pairs of flippers and snorkelling mask, in case I actually manage to get away from the computer for a couple of days and anyone wants to come with me but doesn't have the kit, as often happens...
