面对五花八门的来源，译者该选择哪一个？ Thread poster: clearwater

看到奥地利裔英国经济学家Friedrich Hayek，发现了至少三个版本：
上海译文出版社的英汉大词典（第2版），译成了：海耶克
商务印书馆的英语姓名译名手册（第四版），译成了：海克
以维基百科为代表的网上来源，多半译成了：哈耶克
（http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/哈耶克）
我一向很信奉传统的纸质媒体，上海译文出版社和商务印书馆均是响当当的名号。
可是，就这个Hayek的译法而言，似乎不如网络版啊！
现在想想：工具书多了未必是好事，只会捣浆糊。

点击进入第一个链接后，点击音标，发现听起来更像是“阿耶克”。
再翻英汉大词典第2398页的德汉译音表，
发现ha应发“哈”、而非“海”。

Hayek is a surname of Czech origin; that's probably the reason behind the 哈 sound translation.

Anyway, clearwater, it's up to you to make a choice. IMO, 海耶克 and 哈耶克 are both correct.

| 繁体中文用“海耶克”的较多 | Mar 28, 2014 |
我用"弗里德里希·海耶克"在谷歌上搜索了一下，发现搜到的页面基本上都是繁体字，似乎在内地以外的地方“海耶克”用得较多。
