As a native speaker of Greek who specialised in English at university, I am a very experienced certified translator, Greek to English and English to Greek, as well as being a professor of English. In addition, I hold a translation certificate granted by the Global Translation Institute. I have been a freelance translator since 1997, with extensive experience in a wide variety of texts ranging from technical specifications to theatrical plays. So far, I have translated over 2,000,000 words. I have also attended a series of seminars and courses on translation theory and practice. I have dealt extensively with legal, educational, and social science texts as well as having translated official EU and Greek Parliamentary documents.
