In a world where information is spread rapidly through the media and is stored permanently on the internet, an expert witness has to be especially cautious with every action they take. An attorney only needs one problematic piece of a witness’ life to plant a seed of doubt into a juror’s mind, which could undermine or even discredit the testimony given. Due to the delicateness of court cases, every aspect of an expert forensic anthropologist witness’ life is put under a microscope and judged accordingly. A forensic anthropologist needs to constantly be aware of the methods they use, the information they receive, the ethics involved, their experiences, and their professionalism. | Translation - Korean
