Translation - Bengali So many postmen I found roaming in the forest of Autumn
Their yellow bags got filled like ovine abdomen embedded with grass
So many old and new letters have they picked up
Those postmen of Autumn forest

In my younger days, I had my fair share of opportunities - big ones that I let go of - probably out of overconfidence. Now I often find myself idle, unoccupied, and unsatiated after a day's mundane and routine work.
I cherish creative, innovative, and challenging works, that would help me feel that the day had not been spent fruitlessly. Also, I cherish rewards that would make me feel that my efforts have been evaluated by people who value quality.
Translation was one of my hobbies since my college days. At that time, different magazines and periodicals used to ask for translations of literary works, from Bengali to English, and vice versa. Later I took it professionally. Now it is the filler of my leisure, as well as a source of some extra earnings.
