I
have more than 20 years of experience in written, oral and simultaneous translation
from Bosnian/Croatian into English and vice versa. This experience was acquired by
working with different international organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
(BiH) and in The Hague, Netherlands, namely the UN and NATO missions in BiH and
the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague
(ICTY). During my career, I have translated/interpreted various types of
documents or conversations, like the ones of general nature, legal, war crimes
or military/security field but also content related to public//government
affairs, medical, educational, technical or other topics. When I was working
for the ICTY (2002-2017), I was in particular often used for very urgent
translations, i.e. assignments with short deadlines. I can therefore also be
contacted for urgent or very urgent tasks. I am fluent in both Latin and
Cyrillic alphabet.
