Hello,

I will be in Singapore for a couple of days and would like to take this opportunity to meet fellow translators who live and work in an around Singapore.

I propose to meet at http://www.brauhausrestaurantpub.com.sg at 7pm where they have nice big tables, similar to a German Biergarten, and lots of different kinds of beer. I do not know many locations yet, but I think this one will do nicely. It is located near MRT Novena.

I look forward to hear back from anyone interested in a translator's meeting. The last powwows in Singapore date back to 2002 & 2008, so it's about time something is happening again over here. ;-)

Arrived today Apr 20, 2011

Hi all,

I arrived in Singapore this morning. I had a very nice flight with Singapore airlines (a whole row of seats all to myself, since the plane was only half full).
What's more, I also already received my first free shower after only three hours in Singapore. I really appreciate all this service.icon_smile.gif (just joking, of course)

Little Red Dot's Powwow Apr 27, 2011

Perhaps this Little Red Dot 's translation community is rather small, but it is amazingly cosmopolitan. Nice to have met you, dear colleagues.
