German term or phrase: abschließender geschweifter Giebel
Can anyone help with a translation for an abschließender Giebel? From an architectural description of a historic building in Vienna. Taken from the following paragraph:

"Erbaut 1911 von Ernst Epstein; blockhaft-monumentales neoklassizistisches Zinspalais, über Sockelgeschossen (säulenflankiertes Portal) korinthische Riesenpilasterordnung und abschließender geschweifter Giebel; Palmettendekor."

[abschließender] geschweifter Giebel
Dutch [end] gable

Explanation:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_gable
"A Dutch gable or Flemish gable is a gable whose sides have a shape made up of one or more curves..."
Re abschliessend, I'm not sure what this adds to Giebel, although we do speak of an 'end gable' in English.

Curly gable, eh? My alternative proposal: Gable with twiddly bits.

agree  Björn Vrooman: "Abschließender" shouldn't have been part of the question, as it simply means "at the top" (with the structure being described from the bottom up as...Säulen...über...). Though twiddly bits does have its charm.
