Bisherige Ideen:

a) Finanzministerin Chrystia Freeland bekräftigte am 23. März, die Regierung würde „alle erforderlichen Maßnahmen treffen“, um die Bürger und Unternehmen zu unterstützen.

b) Finanzministerin Chrystia Freeland bekräftigte am 23. März, die Regierung würde „alles in ihrer Macht Stehende tun“, um die Bürger und Unternehmen zu unterstützen.


Variante a) klingt irgendwie schöner, aber Variante b) ist näher am Ausgangstext. Was meint ihr?

Genau diese Formulierung nutzte Mario Draghi in der Finanzkrise 2008/2009 im Zusammenhang mit der Rettung des Euro und sie wurde als "tun, was immer nötig ist" übersetzt. Ob man das schön findet oder nicht, jedenfalls hat diese Formulierung einen gewissen "Markenwert" als Ausdruck für wilde Entschlossenheit erlangt zu haben. Deshalb finde ich sie hier durchaus angebracht.
