Project Manager at UniTranslate

Overview

UniTranslate, a leading translation agency renowned for bridging language barriers across the globe, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee translation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget specifications. You will be the linchpin between our clients, translators, and internal teams, coordinating efforts to deliver exceptional translation services that meet our high standards and diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans that outline specific tasks, timelines, and resources required to achieve project goals. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Understand client needs and expectations, and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Team Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of translators, editors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and resolve any issues that arise.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure that all translations meet UniTranslate's standards as well as client-specific requirements. Review and approve translations before delivery to clients.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address and resolve any issues that impact project timelines or outcomes.

Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and team members to identify areas for improvement. Implement process changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Linguistics, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, preferably within the translation or localization industry.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in at least one language other than English.

Familiarity with translation software and project management tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
