This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. I just let a company with late payment know that I was aware they had some negative feedback and that I would add mine by the end of the week if I did not receive payment by then. In my case, an agency found me on ProZ and I got a dream job (10-year full time translation project) which changed my life completely. Later, I found a job post on ProZ which put me into $10K book translation project. Just 2 big ones in years but these were real jewels.

Using ProZ.com for the past 5 years has been and is invaluable to me. It provides a forum for customers to locate a translator to fit their translation needs. When running into problems or queries, the various forums on Proz are an excellent source of advice and collegial support
