I have studied / worked in a Japanese environment for twenty years, four of them in Japan. I have a master's degree in Translation and Localization Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

I have been translating Japanese professionally and academically for nine years. Since 2008 I have been freelance, specializing in chemistry and pharmaceuticals (my bachelor's degree was in chemistry). However, I also have proficiency in (and received formal education in) general medicine, technology, finance, law, and patents.
