Source text - English All travel is now merely a means of moving a camera from place to place, all travellers are ruled by the all-powerful lens. Visitors old-fashioned enough to wish only to stand and look with their anachronistic eyes are shoved aside by the photographers, who take it for granted that while they do their ritual focusing, nothing else may move or cross their vision. Those peculiar souls without a camera must step aside for those more properly occupied, must wait while the rituals take place, and must bide their time while whole coaches stop and unleash upon the landscape the Instamatic God. And the populations of whole countries seeing themselves cannibalised, swallowed up, vacuumed into the black-ringed staring eye, wrench what they can from the cannibals. You want picture my house, my camel? You pay.
None of this would matter, perhaps, if anything worthwhile was being accomplished. If all the constant busyness and clicking produced, at its end, what had not existed before, images of beauty captured or truth told. But, sadly, this isn't so. The camera is simply graffiti made respectable.
The camera is the means by which we stamp ourselves on everything we see, under cover of recording the Wonders of the World already wonderfully
recorded by professionals and on sale at every corner bookshop and newsagent. But what use to show Aunt Maud, back home, postcards of the Tuscan landscape, since we are not in the picture to prove that we were there?

but for my wife, leaning against it. No temple is of interest without my face beside it, grinning. В днешно време всяко пътуване си е просто придвижване на фотоапарата от едно място до друго, когато всички пътешественици са подвластни на всемогъщата фотооптика. Старомодният наблюдател, застанал и гледащ със анахроничен поглед, е избутан настрана от снимащи с фотоапарат лица, които, докато настройват ритулно апарата, смятат за даденост свише никой да не им се пречка или разваля гледката. Онези душички без фотоапарат са длъжни да отстъпят мястото си на тези, заети със заснемането на обекта - те трябва да изчакат завършването на ритулните им действия и да очакват подходящия момент, в който кавалкадата от автобуси и тяхното съдържание се изсипят пред всевиждащото око на Бог Обектив. Населението на цели страни се чувства сдъвкано и изплюто, всмукано във втренченото око на обектива, опитвайки се същевременно да измъкне каквото може от фотонашественици-те ... “Искаш снима мой къща, мой камила? Плаща!”
Нямаше да вдигаме толкова шум, ако се случваше нещо наистина значимо, ако в крайна сметка в резултат на всичкото това щракане се създаваше нещо ново - великолепни изгледи или неразказани истини. За съжаление това не се случва - снимките се превръщат в приемливи графити.
Фотоапаратът е печатът, с който лично подпечатваме всичко видяно, и то с оправданието, че документираме Чудесата на света, които вече са професионално запечатани и се продават на всяка сергия и вестникарска будка. Но каква полза да покажеш картички с пейзажи от Тоскана на леля ми Пенка, ако аз не съм на тях – къде е доказателството, че съм бил там? Няма ме върху скалистия гребен – ами че той съществува ли тогава? А природна забележителност, на която жена ми не се е облегнала? Храмът няма облик, ако ухилената ми физиономия не се мъдри там...
Със фотоапарата си правя свои както значимостта на този факт, така и всичко красиво - намалявам ги, опитомявам ги и ги закачвам върху голата стена на хола пред избрана публика от приятели или роднини: “Видях. Бях там. Снимах.” Следователно съществуваме.

Source text - German Eine äußerst interessante Studie des Projekts Theratalk von der Universität in Göttingen erstaunt viele Menschen. Bisher glaubten die meisten von ihnen, dass zu viel Sex Stress verursachen würde. Doch genau das Gegenteil kann nach Auswertung des Projekts der Fall sein. Praktizieren Menschen zu wenig Sex miteinander, kann die Folge hoher Stress sein.
Das haben wir schon immer gewusst, mögen sexfreudige Geister in diesen Tagen denken. Stress ist bekanntermaßen ein Lustkiller. Die Göttinger jedoch haben herausgefunden, dass Sexmangel den Stresspegel steigern lassen kann. Betroffene Paare geraten in einen beziehungsfeindlichen Strudel, aus dem sie allein kaum noch im Stande sind zu fliehen. Über 30.000 Männer und Frauen nahmen am Projekt teil. Mit dem Ergebnis, dass ein Drittel von ihnen, die maximal ein Mal pro Woche Sex miteinander haben, sich Hals über Kopf in die Arbeit stürzen. Eine Form der Frustbewältigung über das vermurkste Liebesleben unterm eigenen Dach. Je weniger im eigenen Bett - oder sonst wo passiert, umso mehr steigert sich die Arbeitswut der Betroffenen.
Wer hingegen schon zwei Mal binnen einer Woche Sex mit seinem Partner hat, der lässt es im Job entspannter angehen. Arbeitgeber mögen die Ohren spitzen und unruhig werden. Motto: Meine Leute sollten weniger Sex haben, dann leisten sie mehr. Doch es sollte in den Führungsetagen angekommen sein, dass Menschen ausbrennen und in Depressionen verfallen können. Mit entsprechenden Ausfallzeiten. Und Aktionismus ist nicht gleichzusetzen mit Produktivität. Ein sexuell aktiver und entspannter Mensch kann durchaus erfolgreich sein.
Dass ein Mangel an Sex Stress verursacht, der wiederum ein Lustkiller ist, ergänzt sich. Experten sprechen von einer Abwärtsspirale. Was für eine Beziehung auf Dauer das Aus bedeuten kann. Indikatoren sind sexuelle Frustration und Unzufriedenheit. Daher ist es wichtig, dass Paare ihre sexuellen Aktivitäten und ihre Zufriedenheit sowie ihre individuelle Befriedigung stets im Auge behalten. Besonders wichtig ist, dass man ohne Vorbehalte miteinander redet. Schweigen aus Scham oder gar aus falsch verstandener Rücksichtnahme ist ein Fehler. Wenn es zwei Menschen allein nicht schaffen, darüber zu reden und langfristig glücklich zu sein, ist eine Paartherapie zu empfehlen. Zu verdrängen, ist der Schritt ins mögliche Beziehungsende oder andere Dramen. Zurück zur Studie. Sexuell Frustrierte nehmen oft Verpflichtungen an, die sie nur schwerlich wieder loswerden. Wie Vereinsaktivitäten. Man möchte sich damit einfach nur ablenken vom akuten Sexfrust. Man hat infolge dessen weniger Zeit für die eigene Beziehung, was sich natürlich negativ auf die sexuelle Zufriedenheit auswirkt. Ein äußerst gefährlicher Teufelskreis!

Едно изключително интересно изследване по проекта Theratalk, проведено от Гьотингенския университет, впечатлява много хора. Досега, както вярваха повечето от нас, правенето на твърде много секс може да ни стресира. След оценката на резултатите от проекта може да се получи точно обратното – ако хората правят твърде малко секс, то резултатът ще е силен стрес.
“Ами това винаги сме го знаели!” – ще кажат сексуално активните. Все пак учените от Гьотинген са установили, че липсата на секс може да доведе до повишаване на нивото на стресовото състояние. Засегнатите двойки попадат в един убиващ взаимоотношенията водовъртеж, от който те не са в състояние да излязат поединично.
В проекта взимат участие над 30 000 мъже и жени. Резултатът е, че една трета от тези, които правят секс най-много по веднъж седмично, се отдават изключително на работните си задължения – своего рода преодоляване на неудовлетвореността от съсипания интимен живот у дома. Колкото по-малко време засегнатите прекарват в брачното легло (или където и да е другаде), толкова повече се отдават на работата.
Тези пък, които правят секс с партньора си най-малко два пъти седмично, я карат доста по-ларж на работното място. Тук шефовете трябва да си отворят очите и ушите и да внимават много. Водещо размишление: Подчинените ми да намалят секса – защото така ще са по-ефективни на работното място. Но все пак трябва да е станало известно по началническите кабинети, че хората могат да прегорят и да изпаднат в депресии - със всички произтичащи от това последствия за работата. А показни действия не трябва да се сравняват с производителност. Сексуално активният и отпочинал човек по принцип е по-ефективен в действията си.
Това, че липсата на секс предизвиква стресово състояние, което пък, от своя страна, убива страстта, затваря кръга. Специалистите говорят за низходяща спирала, която с времето убива партньорските взаимоотношения. Като признаци се посочват сексуална фрустрация (разочарование в очакванията) и незадоволеност. Поради тази причина за двойките е важно винаги да обръщат внимание на сексуалната си активност и на удоволствието от нея, като от особено важност е да могат да разговарят помежду си без задръжки. Основна грешка е мълчанието поради срамежливост или погрешно разбрани чувства. Щом двамата не могат да разговарят на тази тема, за да се почувствуват щастливи в дългосрочен план, то тогава се налага лечение. А бягството от тях е крачката към възможна раздяла или драма с друга постановка....
Но да се върнем към изследването - сексуално разочарованите често се нагърбват със задължения, които трудно могат да отхвърлят след това, например участието в различни клубни дейности. По този начин те искат само да се отклонят от изострената си сексуална неудовлетвореност. Последствието е отделяне на по-малко време за личните отношения, което естествено пък се отразява отрицателно върху сексуалната задоволеност – и .... се озовават в изключително опасния омагьосан кръг!
