English to Thai: Marketing - Service introduction
Source text - English Considering the financial commitment you're making in IT infrastructure, it's critical to leverage your investment beginning day one. NCR Deployment Services offers a suite of integration and installation services designed to minimize disruptions to your business operations during rollout and maximize the continuous operability of your IT infrastructure.
And with NCR's global reach, we can provide a broad range of IT Infrastructure Services when and where you need IT, including Design Validation and Configuration, Staging, Installation and De-installation. With our global Deployment Project Management resources, we can manage all issues of your deployment projects through a single point of contact. By reducing the hassle of multiple suppliers, NCR lets you concentrate on what you do best. You can also depend on project management consistency and on-going monitoring of budget and target dates.
Speedometer
The speedometer shows vehicle speed in kilometres per hour (km/h).
Tachometer
The tachometer shows engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Sustained operation in the red zone may cause serious engine damage.
Under wide open throttle acceleration (accelerator pedal pushed flat to the floor) it is possible that the tachometer needle may briefly touch / enter the lower end of the red zone just prior to automatically up shifting into a higher gear. This is normal and will not harm the engine.
Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge shows the level of fuel in the fuel tank when the ignition is switched on, E = empty, F = full.
Note: Small additions of fuel (less than 15 litres) may take up to 10 minutes to register on the fuel gauge; larger amounts will show up almost immediately. This is designed so that fuel movement, when cornering, will not register on the gauge. Also refer to Chapter 5, Fuel.
Temperature gauge
The temperature gauge indicates the engine coolant temperature when the ignition is switched on. Stop-start driving in heavy traffic, driving at high speed in warm weather, hill climbing or towing may cause the needle to move toward the 'H'. This is normal, and is not cause for concern. However, if the needle moves all the way to 'H' and remain there for more than 30 seconds, you should stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so. Refer also to ENGINE OVERHEATING in Chapter 6.
Centre display
The instrument panel centre display provides visual information to the driver for a number of vehicle functions, such as: trip computer, radio, warnings and reminders. Two types of display are available. Depending on the luxury level, your vehicle is fitted with a single-window display or a triple-window display. The various functions and their associated displays are explained later in this chapter and in the following chapters.
Note: Illumination of the gauges is adjusted by moving the tab on the side of the headlights dial, refer to LIGHTS further on in this chapter.
Source text - English The aim of the study was to determine the absorption and transport scattering coefficient of the dermal and subdermal layers of human skin over the near infrared wavelength range which in our case was 620 to 1000 nm. The majority of data relates to caucasian skin but additional anecdotal data was also obtained from muscle and negroid skin. Human tissue samples were ex-vivo from either plastic surgery or post mortem examinations. The measurement method used diffuse reflectance and transmittance single integrating sphere measurements of 1.5 to 2 mm thick samples using the integrating sphere in "comparison mode". The reflectance and transmittance measurements being matched uniquely to Monte Carlo simulations of diffuse reflectance and transmittance for a 2D table of absorption and transport scattering coefficients. The method represents various refinements of a method started originally in the Department by Alan Smith and later by Michael Adams.
Temperature sensitivity of the optical coefficients was evaluated over a 25 to 40 degrees Celsius range by placing the experimental apparatus and samples in a temperature controlled chamber (neonatal incubator).
The results are suitable for use in more complex simulations of light transport in complex tissue models (e.g. Finite Element, Monte Carlo) involving skin structures, such as the head, abdomen, arm or leg.
Hi
I'm Thai native who specializes in technical field. I worked in USA as a researcher a few years and as a chemical engineer in Thailand. I have experience in the technical environments like petrochemical plant in industrial estate and science research area. I graduated from the international program majored in Petrochemical Technology. My expertise includes:
