@ I Love London & @ Ovidiu This problem is that "fabrică de ceasuri" would by definition describe the "factory" itself. It is possible that "întreprinderea" would be the factory premises, but this is depending only on the surrounding context as întreprinderea could relate to the entire business venture, or something on another level. So we need more context before choosing this word.

@ Ovidiu This depends. It all depends on the context, and also on whether this actually a factory (i.e the site of manufacture), or whether it is a workshop. Would probably also depend on what aspect is being discussed - we need more context.

neutral Lara Barnett : We do not use the term "factory" very often to describe watch making establishments. A factory can be used to make parts, but we need more context before we can agree with this. This text was written by a non English native.
