French term

un concept d’exploitation en franchise de points de vente

French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Franchising
"Parallèlement, la société ABC SA a mis en place une offre de produits et de services accessoires aux produits de la marque BRAND et développé un concept d’exploitation en franchise de points de vente à l’enseigne « POSH BRAND »."

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see a way to put this into sensible English.
Proposed translations (English)
4 +1 sales outlet franchising concept
3 +1 point-of-sale franchising concept

Discussion

CMJ_Trans (X) May 11, 2006:
it could be an approach but that is something one feels, or not, from the whole flavour of the text. Hard to tell without more context. Not to be excluded however
Charlotte Allen (asker) May 11, 2006:
Any thoughts on 'approach' for 'concept' (i.e. reading 'concept' as 'conception' = approach????)

point-of-sale franchising concept

"Points de vente" is often used more specifically for "point-of-sale" (which can be within a larger store, for instance perfume counters in a department store).

I agree with CMJ re: your question, but I can't work out how to post in that window!
