English term

bill

English to French Marketing Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts)
With the per invoice service, users can *bill images directly to their accounts* without having to talk to a sales representative.

J'ai un doute quant au sens de "bill" dans cette phrase..

Merci d'avance de votre aide!

Hi Enotet, bill as in billing, I would say, since it says it's an invoice service. I would imagine the "user" they are talking about is buying photos, can you confirm?

My interpretation of the little context provided is that the user chooses an image they want to buy and does not have to talk to the sales rep to pay for it, they can pay for it directly through the system. Although I'll wait for your confirmation, I am confident of this interpretation, however I'm not that confident on the French word for it though, since I mostly work Fr -> Eng.
Note from asker:
Je pense que c'est en effet le sens.. mais j'ai été perturbée par "to their accounts".. Merci à vous

neutral Tony M : In essence, but it really means 'to charge it to their accounts' i.e. for later payment

yes, charge is a more precise term for the action
